About the event
The Human + AI Advantage, presented by the First State Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, was a half-day professional development program focused on practical, responsible uses of artificial intelligence in legal management and professional services.
As part of the program, Leilani Decena presented “Prompt Like a Pro: Turn Better Prompts into Smarter Legal Workflows,” a hands-on session designed to help legal administrators move beyond one-off AI prompts and begin building more useful, repeatable ways of working with AI. The session covered prompting fundamentals, clearer AI instructions, workflow design, communications, meeting preparation, research, document review, planning, and other administrative applications.
The event also included an interactive Prompt-a-Thon and panel discussion, giving attendees an opportunity to apply what they learned, test ideas, and explore real-world AI use cases with the speakers.
